Thank-you for all your suggestions and comments on making a quilt label. They are a big help and I am going to give them a try as they all sound like great ideas......I will let you know how I go! I started on another quilt a few weeks ago, with applique which is something I haven't tried before. I've done my first square and only have 35 more to go! Not sure how long this will take me as it is fiddly and trickier than a straight running stitch (which is why I like my square patches).

hi laura! it is by hand......which is why it is taking me forever. nice and relaxing though!

hi abby, I iron on freezer paper and iron around to shape the petals, then peel them off just before stitching them on. Is that paper piecing? It's all still new to me!
Hi Soo, just blog-surfed here and wanted to say what lovely quilts and I especially like the repro fabrics you have chosen here.
this is beautiful... I've never done applique... it scares me!!
the fabrics are gorgeous too.
