swap fever

I have finally managed to finish off my ornaments for the holiday swap. It feels like it has taken me forever, but I am glad they are done now and on their way to their new homes!

Each of them were packaged in a little bag to keep them safe during their journey!

I also signed up for the postcard swap - I don't think I will sign up for more than one swap at a time in the future, it was hard work trying to come up with an idea for the postcards. I just drew a blank and had no idea what to make! As you can see, I kept up with the tree theme........

They were posted off this morning too! Now for a cup of tea........

they're sooo beautiful.

I've sent mine but am kind embarassed by them. I guess house moves and 'swaps' really don't go together.

I'll do better next time I promise!!

Oh my, those are both so beautiful. Love the little ribbon (?) trunks on the trees. And the green polka dot fabric, well, actually, I love every single thing about them.

they are all so lovely - I love the trees and their special little travelling pouches. And as for the red and aqua postcards. I just wish I was the lucky recipient.

I got mine! And it was such a lovely surprise. Thank you thank you and thank you. They are sitting up in my kitchen.

I bought a piece of the prints charming material about a year ago and it is still sitting waiting for the right project to do soemthing with.

But I'm confused! I didn't send you anything in the swap. I had different names on my list. I am new to swapping so I'm not sure how it works.

Very glad that I got yours however.

I absolutely love the postcards. Mine arrived in the mail today, so thank you very very much. I have to agree with the effort put into mine, as upon receiving yours I feel a bit bad about mine. I too sent to different people so I am not sure how the swap is worked out, but your postcards were so lovely to receive, and now I have a new blog to read too!

haha, I was confused too as I didn't have you on my list! I guess we are sending to different people than the ones who are sending to us? Actually it was very strange because I saw these on your blog and then the next day...they were in my letterbox! LOL

Totally agree with one swap at a time. I loose track of what goes where. You have done a lovely job on both and love the same tree theme for both.

you can find nice wool felt at patchwork stores (try material obsession or purple patch). I've also managed to find wool felt on ebay!
